Fraud warning and cloned companies
We take every piece of information and suspicion about fraudulent activity using our name very seriously. Read this page before you share personal data with any party.
Why we publish this warning
From time to time we find parties using the name Neo Valor, or a very similar name, without our permission. This can confuse prospective users and spread wrong information about the company and its services.
We publish this warning for three purposes: to help you recognise the genuine party, to explain what to do if you are suspicious, and to state the limits of our responsibility for the actions of parties that are not us.
Cloned companies
If you suspect you are dealing with a cloned company that uses our brand, name or logo, do not give out your personal information and notify us immediately by email at [email protected]. Include screenshots, the site address, and the phone number or account that contacted you.
We keep working to identify all cloned companies, but some may remain undetected for a period of time. For that reason every user should check the legitimacy of the companies they contact online before sharing personal data or starting any business relationship.
Warning signs
- Promises of certain profit or results far beyond what is reasonable.
- Pressure to deposit at once and threats that the offer will disappear.
- Requests for passwords, 2FA codes, API keys or remote access to your device.
- Site addresses, emails or social media accounts whose spelling differs slightly from our official domain.
- Requests to transfer funds to a private account in an individual's name.
How to make sure you are dealing with the right party
Our official address is neovalor-ai.com, and our official email uses the same domain. Type that address directly into the browser, or use a bookmark you saved yourself. Do not open links from messages you did not ask for.
The company details and regulatory framework we mention are on the about us and licensing and regulation pages. You can also ask for confirmation directly through our official email.
If you have already given out data
Change the password of the account whose data you gave right away, and revoke any API keys that another party may know. Contact your bank or digital wallet provider if you gave a card number or an OTP code, or made a transfer.
After that, report the incident to [email protected] so we can record the numbers, sites and accounts the offender used and follow up.
Where you can report
- To us: send evidence to [email protected] so we can ask the hosting provider and social media platforms to take down content that imitates us.
- To your bank: if there was a transfer to a suspicious account, ask the bank to block and trace the transaction as soon as possible.
- To the police and competent authorities: file an official report with all the evidence, including conversations, account numbers and screenshots of the site.
The sooner the report is made, the greater the chance that funds sent can be traced.
Limits of our responsibility
We are aware of cases where our name and personal data have been misused for fraudulent purposes that we cannot influence or control. We deeply regret the financial losses suffered by anyone affected by them.
However, Neo Valor is not responsible for fraudulent transactions carried out in our name by other parties. If you become a victim, also report to the police and the competent authorities, and keep all evidence of communications and transactions. Account security guidance is on the security page.
